The front part of the original undertray on these cars is notoriously weak due to its fibre material construction and as a result is prone to failure over time. Our solution is a direct replacement, three-piece undertray made in aluminium that reuses all of the original mounting points to ensure a perfect and secure fitment. Unlike others on the market, the design of the oil cooler extraction ducting has also been carefully considered to imitate the original in order to maintain sufficient cooling. As a result, the sides of the ducts are enclosed against the oil cooler and the radius of the ducting increased in size. There are also brake duct cut outs to allow the use of a GT4-style splitter with brake cooling ducts. Finished in a high-quality black powder coat finish, the undertray offers improved strength, durability and cooling effectiveness. Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s oil cooling ability for modified Mk4 ST owners who struggle to maintain steady oil temperatures on track, or during fast road use. With vast experience in developing uprated oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars, the challenge with this kit was to integrate a large capacity, external oil cooler neatly behind the upper grille area without obstructing the air intakes. As a result, our design includes a designated scoop on the left-hand side that supports the oil cooler and channels cold air towards the intakes. As part of our expanding Mini product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our header tank upgrade to suit R53 Cooper S models. A direct replacement for the original plastic tank, the AIRTEC Motorsport header tank is made from lightweight alloy and comes in a natural silver or high quality powder coated black finish. It also  features a sight glass to view the coolant level and comes with an uprated high pressure cap. The tank uses original fixing points, hoses and connectors so no drilling or cutting is required and fitting is a simple process. With an improved look to the engine bay and increased strength so the tank will not leak over time, this is a simple yet effective upgrade.  Please note: The Stant quick release high-pressure cap displayed in the images is for illustration purposes only, as Stant caps are no longer available. We now supply a replacement quick release high-pressure cap in a similar style. Fits Clio 197 without factory air-con fitted (or air-con delete kit fitted). Designed and tested in-house at AIRTEC HQ, tested at many UK track days & at the Nürburgring.
